Founded in 1993 by Iain Burgess and Peter Deimel, Black Box is a residential recording studio located in the beautiful French countryside of the Anjou region, close to the Loire Valley.
The studio was designed and built around our Flickinger recording console from 1969 and paired with an eclectic mix of vintage recording equipment and a carefully chosen backline collection.
During your stay, you will be comfortably housed on site in our renovated traditional farmhouse offering 5 separate bedrooms, a large living and dining room area and a fully equipped kitchen.
